From Google News Search: "News and Media" Why is the news media reporting false information? Q. The media is reporting that the student named Lawrence King was shot by a student who hates gays. WRONG!!! Also, some people are even saying that the student who shot him was a christian..FALSE!!! The truth is the following from students that go to the school there. 1.Brandon is bisexual 2.Larry wasn't shot because he is gay but due to a different argument 3.One of the Vice principals is openly gay and would never allow 'homophobic bullying' Can you really trust the news media? Asked by Jack R - Thu Feb 21 14:59:33 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. The news media has NEVER reported totally true information. Good thing you've learned your lesson not to trust them. I learned this myself when I was on the news and the entire story was changed, and it wasn't even BIG news just a filler story. I haven't trusted the media since. Answered by tamrn02 - Thu Feb 21 15:03:43 2008 Why does the main stream news media only report the democratic or govt. side of the story and not the truth? Q. It seems the govt. and news media is after their own wishes and wants and not the american poeple! Asked by George - Tue Sep 15 20:10:21 2009 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments A. We haven't had an unbiased media in years. Even all the Bush bashing of the "liberal left media" was far from the truth. All major media outlets are owned by major companies. Diseny, GE, etc. The point of our media is not to inform, but to turn a profit. Answered by R M - Tue Sep 15 20:15:50 2009 Should there be a law that regulated news media so that there was an equal balance of good news and bad news?
Q. The bias towards bad news is overwhelming - almost depressing. I say that for death we should see a happy pair of mating pandas. For every armed robbery I want to see some OAP marry an 18 year old leggy blond. For every crass and stupid law passed in Parliament, I want to see some school kids making an idiot out of their headmaster for charity. It's all about balance. Well, isn't it? Asked by obscureguitarhero - Fri Aug 17 18:25:46 2007 - - 15 Answers - 0 Comments A. Cant we have at least 20% ironic news ?
