Whats the difference between fixed, cardinal and mutable signs?
Q. What does all that mean? im a Cancer and it says im Cardinal, and my bf's a Virgo so hes fixed?

A. Ok well each of the 12 signs are broken down into 3 groups. fixed, cardinal and mutable signs The Cardinal signs take action. I am trying to find the letter That Cardinal Cushing sent to Father Coughlin on his 50th anniversary?
Q. On June 3, 1966 Cardinal Cushing sent a letter to Father Coughlin on his 50th anniversary and I am trying to find a copy of it somewhere on the Internet. Cardinal Cushing was in the hospital at the time so a Rt. Rev. Monsignor Francis J. Lally read the letter to Father Coughlin. Does anyone have any idea where I could find a copy of it to print out. Thank you very much.

A. I seem to recall that it has happened once... just something in the back of my mind. I'll research it and get back to you... hold that thought :-) Edit: Ok - I knew I had read something about this - but it's just Wikipedia, so it's to be taken with a grain of salt: "Until 1918 it was possible for someone who was not a priest, but only in minor orders (and so perhaps married), to become a cardinal (see on "lay cardinals" below), but they were enrolled only in the order of cardinal deacons. For example, in the 16th century, Reginald Pole was a cardinal for 18 years before he was ordained a priest. After 1918 it was established that all cardinals, even the cardinal deacons, had to be priests, and since 1962 all cardinals have been bishops… [cont.]
