Asked by Amber - Wed Jul 2 20:56:50 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. I think it's uncommon in 12 year olds, but I wouldn't rule it out. If anything is wrong with your vision, you should get it checked by a doctor. Tell your parents your problem and ask them to take you. Answered by JimR - Wed Jul 2 21:27:36 2008 What causes wavy vision upon waking from sleep? Q. On a few occasions just recently I've been waking to wavy distorted vision it only last a few seconds but everything is wavy like water or something. It's weird. What causes this? I am nearsighted so, I am a bit concerned it might be retina attachment but why would it just happen upon waking? Asked by Ufo - Tue Nov 10 18:23:59 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. When we open our eyes, we are looking though our tears which can take a second or two to form a smooth surface. This might happen if, for example, you are experiencing meibomianitis (an inflammation of the oil-producing glands in our eyelids). Also the cornea swells when we are asleep and comes back down to normal size over the next couple of hours, though this change is probably too slow to cause what you are experiencing. My suggestion would be to explain your symptoms to your eye doctor. They will want to look at your tears, your lids, your corneas, etc. to try to figure out what is up. The good thing is that they can also do a retinal exam, just in case your worst fears are true. Good luck! Doc Answered by Doc - Tue Nov 10 18:59:27 2009 What would blurry vision and dizziness indicate?
Q. A family member of mine just recently (very recently) experienced those symptoms up there. Dizziness and blurred vision. As she was running on the treadmill, she suddenly stopped because she was feeling ill. At that moment, her vision blurred and became light headed. Now, she just feels bad. Just plain bad (not a very good description, but that's how she put it). I'm worried about her. Any ideas as to what it might be? Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated. ** She's not sleep deprived. Vision or visual perception, is the ability to interpret visible light information reaching the eyes which is then made available for planning and action. The resulting perception is also known as eyesight, or simply sight. The various components involved in vision are known as the visual system. Many quotes refer to the concept of vision as a shared view of a future concept, especially in the context of strategic planning. It defines the desired or intended future state of an organization or enterprise in terms of its fundamental objective and/or strategic direction. Vision is a long term view, sometimes describing a view of how the organization would like the world in which it operates to be. For example a charity working with the poor might have a vision statement which read "A world without poverty"
