Vision.

Vision or visual perception, is the ability to interpret visible light information reaching the eyes which is then made available for planning and action. The resulting perception is also known as eyesight, or simply sight. The various components involved in vision are known as the visual system.

Many quotes refer to the concept of vision as a shared view of a future concept, especially in the context of strategic planning. It defines the desired or intended future state of an organization or enterprise in terms of its fundamental objective and/or strategic direction. Vision is a long term view, sometimes describing a view of how the organization would like the world in which it operates to be. For example a charity working with the poor might have a vision statement which read "A world without poverty"
