I would defer final recommendations to the glaucoma specialist, but I would expect and prepare to hear that it's not a good idea. Activities with rapid acceleration and deceleration tend to increase inner eye pressure anyway, and gymnastices would definitely be one of those kinds of activities that involved both. She's also at a higher risk of detaching or tearing the retina- and gymnastice would raise the risk again. She may be developing diabetic retinopathy, and that would definitely put the kabosh on the gymnastics. I'm sorry, but it just doesn't look good for her to continue.
